Here’s the video to ‘Muqabala‘ - ADH’s duet with Panjabi superstar Miss Pooja.

The track is the fourth video to be taken from ADH’s latest album ‘Taubah Taubah’ which was released earlier this month.

Having collaborated with Gop Virk, Hunterz and the legendary Kuldeep Manak in his recent releases, ADH continues the streak of collaborations and teams up with Miss Pooja, for a more traditional sound on ‘Muqabala’.

ADH’s fourth album, ‘Taubah Taubah’, is out now via Moviebox. The ten track album features a number of renowned artists and producers including Kuldeep Manak, Miss Pooja, Bhota Jagpal, Aman Hayer and BS Productions.

GSChaggar is a twenty-six year old turntablist/ music producer from the Midlands, UK. Having played the dhol in bands for many years, he decided in 2004 he would turn his attention on becoming a music producer… Thanks to his talent of the dhol and turntablism, GSChaggar connected with audiences with the very first listen.

A Dj/Turntablist of instinct, GSChaggar has a flair for mixing catchy songs that leave the listener moved by the raw emotion in them. Although his roots are firmly placed in traditional UK Panjabi music, he draws inspiration from many different lyrical and musical influences. “My style is my own..I can produce songs, mix songs and can say that’s my own style”.
It is that versality that has landed his song with Master Saleem “Chardi Jawani” that is surely giving him the recognition that it deserves.

Music is not a new passion for GSChaggar however: after learning the dhol for 3 years, GSChaggar started working with songs at the tender age of 12: “I used play keyboards round school and everything that made a sound around the house until I eventually picked up the dhol at 14!”, he says jokingly. But it wasn’t until joining local band “Notorious Dhol Gangsters” at 17 as dholi and bhangra dancer, that he decided to make music his life passion. For the next several years however, life took him through many travels around the world, from the UK, to India.

The biggest journey was music. Music, truth be told, was never far from his mind. “I always knew it was a matter of time until I started to show interest to music, even though my experience within the music industry had me at boiling point on several occasions. The only thing that kept me going was the drive from all the experiences and failures within my life, encouraging me to continue.”

Now GSChaggar - is sharing his time between djing and producing his next future ventures and spending plenty of time in the studio working on new material to publish in the near future.

For over 15 years Happy has been writing Panjabi songs for the likes of Panjabi MC, Taz Stereonation, Jassi Sidhu, Shin DCS, Asif Khan, ADH, Amrinder Gill and Lembher Hussainpuri.

During the course of his career, Happy has penned a number of popular tracks including Panjabi MC’s ‘Dhol Jageeri Da’ and Stereo Nation’s ‘Hogaya Sharabi’ and ‘Boli Paa Mitra’. Happy also collaborated with renowned British Bhangra group The Sahotas on various albums as well as delivering the huge track ‘Dang Ditha’.

Having established himself as a songwriter in the Bhangra scene, Happy now prepares to showcase another talent.  The track ‘Ik Peela’ marks the beginning of Happy’s singing career.  

As a singer-songwriter, Happy Bains plans on releasing his debut album later this year on Kamlee Records.

Following the success of albums like ‘4Folk Sake’ and ‘Never Look Back’, with popular songs like ‘Kurri’ and ‘Mirza’, ADH is gearing up to release his fourth album. ‘Taubah Taubah’ is the first track to be taken from singer’s forthcoming album of the same name.

Produced by BS Productions, ‘Taubah Taubah’ is a catchy summer track with a laid back vibe which also features US rapper Gop Virk. The track sets the tone for ADH’s album promises to offer a variety of songs not just for Bhangra audiences and features both urban and desi flavours.

Releasing via Moviebox, the ten track album ‘Taubah Taubah’ is set to release this autumn and will feature a number of solo ADH songs as well as collaborations with artists like Kuldeep Manak, Hunterz and Miss Pooja. Heavyweight Bhangra producers Bally Jagpal, Bhota Jagpal, Aman Hayer and BS Productions lend their talents to the music of the album. As well as providing the lead vocals to the ten tracks, ADH has also produced and written a track on the album.

This is ADH’s fourth album. The Midlands based singer first hit the music scene back in 2001 with ‘I Want it All’ and followed it up with hit album ‘4Folk Sake’. Then his third release, ‘Never Look Back’ led to a three album deal between ADH and renowned UK label Moviebox.

The video to ‘Taubah Taubah’ is the first of five videos to be taken from the album.

‘Taubah Taubah’ the album, will be out this autumn.

DJ Jagz Releases Debut Album

The talented DJ from London is set to release his debut album, a move which will thrill his army of fans across the world.

DJ Jagz aka Jagz Rajbans has built a reputation as one of West London’s most innovative DJ’s, with his unique mixing styles to his crowd reading abilities he certainly has what it takes to be the most sought after Asian DJ in the industry. Jagz has been entertaining crowds up and down the country by creating an atmosphere like none other, from specialising in Bhangra along with Hip Hop & rnb.
Jagz consistently demonstrates his skills to diversify and maintain his reputation.
DJ Jagz is releasing his debut album later this month, marking a huge stage in the career of the multi-talented DJ and Producer. Jagz has just put the final touches to the album, and is now preparing for the imminent release that will hopefully build upon his fan base and get his music heard by more people than ever.

The album, ‘My Moment’, consists of nine original songs produced by Jagz, each providing a combination of his DJ and Production skills. Hosting 2 Smash Hit Kaka Bhaniawala tracks, of which ‘Ik Vari’ already set to be the track of summer 2009; he’s with out a doubt setting the bar higher for others to follow.
The album was recorded at The Sound Pipe Studios in London , and its creation was supported by vocalists such as The Legendry Kaka Bhaniawala, Mukki G and Kuldip Manak to name a few.

The theme of the album underlies the modern Bhangra to the Old Skool Bhangra styles making it attractive to every kind of person.
While producing the album Jagz’s travels took him far and wide to explore fresh sounds and develop his musical style.
‘My Moment’ reveals the stunning array of influences that have found their way into Jagz’s music personality. Whilst his grounding came in private parties such as weddings and birthdays – he began to get himself known whilst playing in clubs across the country – he was always keen to bring something unique to the dance floor.

Jagz has said of his work: “From the moment I started producing the album I had an image of how it would be, but it’s exceeded my expectations.
“Although I had a lot of exposure to music production from a very young age, it wasn’t until two years ago that I actually set my mind on doing what I had always wanted to do – produce an album for people to enjoy, and that was a real changing point for me.”
“Since then, my style has developed and I’ve incorporated other sounds and genres which have all made their way into ‘My Moment. The album is a reflection of my influences over the years.”

“The most exciting experience I have had while producing ‘My Moment’ was working with The Legendry Kaka Bhaniawala on the last two tracks he recorded vocally for my album – ‘Ik Vari’ and ‘Devil’s Eye’. He was such a down to earth vocalist and as we all know a very talented one. When I heard the sad news of his death it really hit me hard, and the fact that he would have never been able to hear the final product. I know for sure he’s watching from above and admiring the finished product of his voice.”

“The album itself covers all aspects of music, it’s something that elders & youngsters can listen to and enjoy, there is a different feel to each track, some slow and some ‘commercial’ Bhangra tracks with immense dhol beats, it’s been a long hard journey but it’s out there for the people and I hope they enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed making it.”
