This Rap/Rock anthem has been produced by Buddy Rock of the Caravan Crookz, and features rock vocals by Classic Rock singer/songwriter Richard O’Brien and DJ scratches by BBC Asian Network’s DJ Kayper!

Rapper Swami Baracus has been on the music scene for a number of years and has featured on smash hits such as: ‘One Blood UK’, ‘My Shoes’, ‘Brown Boys’ and ‘This DJ’. He has received substantial airplay from BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Kiss 100, Galaxy FM and BBC Asian Network. Baracus has performed at the UK Asian Music Awards press launch and was the first Asian rapper, to be featured on the UK Dubstate segment on DJ Excalibahs legendary ‘Tales From The Legend’ Hip-Hop show on BBC 1Xtra. Baracus is also the winner of the Asian 8-Mile MC Battle contest, which took place at ‘Bombay Bronx’ hosted by Radio 1 DJ Nihal, who also features as a cameo in the video!

Multi talented producer, singer and songwriter Kader first came to public attention as part of the grime and funky production duo ‘Hypnotiks’.

With his partner Leon Vandal [SMI], they produced beats and videos for notable UK artists Mike GLC, Donaeo, Corey Johnson, Faro, Lefty and G-Fresh. Their production for Crey Mey’s “Bubblegum, which also featured Kader, went on to be a major street hit with heavy rotation on Channel AKA.

He has decided to move on a solo career to focus on a new musical direction reflecting his original r&b roots. The result is a highly impressive debut release with his self written and produced single ‘Eyes’.

While busy with studio production, Kader is also keen to showcase his all round talent in the best traditions of R&B.  Expect to see a number of live dates announced in the coming months as he also continues to write his new album.

The single ‘Eyes’ draws on the flavas of late 90’s R&B but brings it up to 2010. Kader’s influences are evident here, leaning on the styles of Teddy Riley, Timbaland and The Neptunes but adding his own unique contemporary twist. The radio edit is a stripped down R&B production with a laid back vocal and an enslaving chorus. The single’s a slick and well written production with a smooth vocal delivery that hits the mark.

Kader describes his sound and says

“I like to produce something new and different, mixed with the old skool 90′s R&B sound but with a slightly more abstract, edgy and eclectic style. It’s distinctive but infectious, I have a definite vision of how I want to develop this, I take from the old to produce something totally fresh”

With his debut solo album releasing on his own Beat Academy Entertainment label in the works for 2011, this first offering gives notice of a remarkable talent and promise of things to come. The package is complete with Grime and Funky mixes by Kader himself while London’s DJ Mappa chips in with a massive wall of electronica that completes an exceptional record.

Kader’s knowledge and passion for music, his dedication and outstanding ability all combine to ensure he’ll be one of London’s biggest discoveries for many years, beginning now with the single ‘Eyes’.

Paul E Paul has been hard at work recently; the London based singer/producer has been in the studio adding the final touches to his fantastic debut single.

The much awaited debut dance-floor triumph ‘Girl in the Club’ ,has been given a Desi refix by bhangra star DJ H and talented up and coming producer Angel. The track and various mixes are set for release by Optimus Records on 10th October 2010.

The track is a formidable mix of energy, club beats and catchy lyrics. It stormed straight onto the UK scene with superb airplay success and radio support from BBC Radio One, Kiss 100 , 1Xtra and Choice FM.

Paul E Paul, an accomplished British Asian singer/producer and DJ, has performed at world-class venues including a set at the O2 earlier this year. During 2007, Paul E Paul’s music was used for a US commercial that aired on MTV and in 2009 the BBC requested one of his songs to be played across a selection of their channels, including the MOBO Awards show.

“You know I’m original, not your everyday typical”

In an era where urban blends into pop, it’s refreshing to hear a new sound from a distinctively new voice. East London singer and rapper, Mumzy Stranger unleashes his debut single Fly With Me on 10^th October.

Impossible to box in a specific genre, Fly With Me draws influences from dance music combined with smooth R&B vocals and a distinct dancehall flavor. It’s a sound that has already got the likes of Radio 1’s Nihal and Fearne Cotton and Choice’s The Firin Squad playing the single as well as being listed as DJ Target’s homegrown talent single of the week on Radio 1xtra. Not only has Mumzy delivered a smash-hit single but has also collborated with other artists and producers to give us a Rishi Rich Kulcha mix,  a cyantific mix, a bangla mix featuring Sh8s, an undergrime mix featuring Roly, gods gift and KID aswell as a dance mix produced by Young Archie.

The video to the highly anticpated single was shot earlier this summer in London’s Knightbridge by director Orson Nave. Speaking on the set of the video Mumzy talks us through the concept “At the beginning of the video you see me walking into this luxury house where myself and my colleagues are having a meeting but I am unable to concentrate thinking about this girl that I’ve met and from there the scene spins off into three or four different scenes relating to this girl and of course what Mumzy video wouldn’t be complete without a dance scene at the end!”

Co-written and co-produced with renowned producer and long time mentor, Rishi Rich, Mumzy Stranger has been making a name for himself on the urban and Asian underground scene over the last few years. Plaistow-born Mumzy started out on East London’s grime scene battling with other MCs before discovering the Asian club scene when he started University. Combing the two genres with his love of dancehall music, Mumzy Stranger started becoming one of the key figures on the Asian music scene. His singles One More Dance and Showgirl topped the Asian charts and the success led to collaborations with some of Bollywood’s biggest musicians.

Mumzy Stranger has had a busy few months as he prepares for his breakthrough into mainstream, he has just wrapped up a mela tour which he headlined performing to audiences of up to 60,000 people aswell as touring Canada USA and Middle East.

In between all this Mumzy has been busy in the studio finishing his debut album with Rishi which will be released in 2011. As you can expect from an artist who mixes sounds and styles, he is determined not to be pigeonholed. “I’m not an Asian doing R&B music.  I’m a soulful, R&B, bashment artist who happens to be Asian.  I don’t need to be put under any category.”

Grime meets Desi in Rishi Rich’s kulcha mix of Skepta’s latest single ‘Cross my heart’ featuring Preeya Kalidas.

Alongside Dizzee Rascal and Wiley, UK Bad Boy Skepta is considered a veteran of the UK grime scene and is now set to break barriers by being the first grime artist to cross over into the Asian music scene with the help of legendary producer Rishi Rich.

Having already worked with the likes of many mainstream artists such as Britney Spears, Mary J Blige and Craig David Rishi is no stranger to mixing different genres of music and once again breaks new ground with this single.

Featuring on both versions of the single Preeya Kalidas add her captivating vocals to create a sound that crosses the boundaries of both grim and asian music. Speaking of his collaboration with Preeya and of the Kulcha mix, Skepta states ‘…working with Preeya was great and she brought a great vibe to the track and Rishi’s Kulcha mix helps take the single to another level!’

The video to ‘CROSS MY HEART’ features Skepta and Preeya in a luxury estate and within two days of being launched online received over 80,000 views on You Tube breaking the previous record set by NDUBZ. Within a week this number has risen to over 350,000 views and is still soaring.

Both mixes of the single have received strong support from not only mainstream but the underground ground and Asian markets as well and is guaranteed to please fans and cross into their hearts.
