Classically trained musician and producer Gupsy Aujla is set to release his brand new single titled ‘Bhangra’ on 4^th August via iTunes! After successfully launching the ‘Sher Soorma’ project in February, Gupsy Aujla returns to deliver an uplifting Bhangra anthem this summer.

Having previously delivered hit singles such as ‘Yaar Nai Labhde’, ‘Putt Sardaran De’, ‘Sunja Goriye’ & ‘Gabru Gulab Warga’; Gupsy Aujla teams up with new folk vocalist Saini Surinder to create his next masterpiece, simply titled ‘Bhangra’.

‘Bhangra’ will be supported by a colourful video, shot by acclaimed director Guvy Heer and features dance groups Gabru Punjab De & Ruhan Punjab Diyan. The video will be airing on TV & online very soon.

THE SOUND PIPE RECORDS PRESENT ‘DARU NAAL YAARI’ BY HIGHFLYERS FEATURING THE
LATE GREAT KAKA BHANIAWALA
02 FEBRUARY 2011 – LONDON, U.K. – Highflyers burst onto the Asian music scene last year with their hit debut single ‘Baa Farke’ and smash hit follow-up ‘The Shinda Duet’. They are now set to give us another true Bhangra classic in the form of their latest single ‘Daru Naal Yaari’ featuring the mighty vocals of the late Kaka Bhaniawala.
The dynamic duo decided to release a song which drove home the message of addiction, and ‘Daru Naal Yaari’ is a track that outlines such issues that trouble people in the everyday world. ‘The track is basically about a man’s addiction to alcohol and how issues in his life have drove him to it.’ explains DJ Indie. ‘Kaka Bhaniawala really does this track justice and drives the message home. Our creativity seems to really flow when using material sung by Kaka. He is truly inspirational and his vocal style works well with our style of production’ states DJ Gurj.
Highflyers have certainly reached a high point in their musical journey so far. They will be releasing their debut album soon featuring a host of tracks designed for hardcore Bhangraheads and looking forward to planning for  their follow-up album. In the meantime they continue to work the private party and club circuit with their Roadshow.
The single ‘Daru Naal Yaari’ by Highflyers featuring Kaka Bhaniawala will be available to download from iTunes from 17th February 2011. Get ready for a Bhangra explosion from new sensation Sat Sandhu direct from the heart of Paris!

Born and raised in Paris, Sat Sandhu,  is the first Bhangra artist to come out of France. The talented 22 year old has not only been recognised for his raw talent as a Bhangra artist but as a born entertainer and performer.

Sat’s musical career started in 2005 when himself and his brother started a bhangra team called Shaan-Punjab-Di.  Although backed by a supportive family, Sat explains that it was hard at the beginning trying to get their music recognised ‘I worked hard and trained myself and the rest of the group. I became leader of the group and after five hard years we became the number one Bhangra team in Europe.’

After five successful years together, Sat decided to venture out on his own to conquer the world of Bhangra. Sat who is a trained dancer & also plays the Dhol professionally, has always been drawn to the world of arts since a young age. His passion for music stemmed from following huge stars such as Michael Jackson. However it was as a teen that Sat realised that most of the musically inspirational people to him were non-Asian and it was this that fuelled him to show his peers in France his heritage and culture via his love for Bhangra music hoping one day to become a role model for other aspiring artists.

His first single  ‘Dil Dhak Dhak’ accompanied by his first video shot in his home town of Paris, is set to hit airwaves and TV screens across the UK this Christmas and is just a taster of what is to come from the young star.

Having already taken Paris by storm, Sat Sandhu is forecast to cause chaos in the UK this December…watch this space!

After the success of his debut single ‘Main Nee Peenda’; Spice Media are proud to present the follow up single from Garry Sandhu titled ‘Dil De De’.

Ensuring a unique sound, the song has been produced by the prolific Surinder Rattan, who laces the vocals of Garry Sandhu with an infectious beat!

Completing the collaboration is Canadian artist Roach Killa whose unmistakable style flows elegantly alongside the powerful vocals of Garry Sandhu.

‘Dil De De’ has been written and composed by Garry Sandhu himself, who is currently busy working on his debut album, which is set for release early 2011. The album will feature collaborations with some of the most talented producers in the industry.

For his latest musical offering, DJ Dips has brought together father and son duo Nirmal Sidhu and Nav Sidhu for a huge party treat – ‘Nachale Sanu Naal’.

Last year, DJ Dips released his debut solo Bhangra album ‘Stand Up Vol. 1’; the album featured tracks such as ‘Gal Sun’, ‘Nagin’ and the number one single of 2009 – ‘Gerra De De’ featuring Miss Pooja, Lehmber Hussainpuri and Kaka Bhaniawala. The Bhangra releases were followed by a grime inspired take on ‘Gerra De De’. Featuring a sample of Miss Pooja’s vocals and five British Asian MC’s. ‘This DJ’ received a great response and mainstream exposure, further displaying this young producers ability, creativity and appeal.

Having established a solo career and now a well recognised name in the music industry, gig scene and wedding market, DJ Dips is all set for his second album release. For the first track off the album, DJ Dips returns to his Bhangra roots and has produced a real uptempo desi number that will encourage even the shyest of partygoers to hit the dance floor. Featuring the distinct vocals of Bhangra veteran Nirmal Sidhu and presenting young upcoming talent Nav Sidhu, ‘Nachale Sanu Naal’ blends Giddah Boli and Bhangra beats for an entertaining number.

Urban Desi artist, The PropheC, is ready to release his debut music video to the highly successful song “Sohni”. The track features rapper Deep C.

“Seeing the tremendous response the song got last year, we knew that Sohni had to have a music video” Says PropheC. “I have never been able to emulate the feeling I had when I made Sohni. It’s a very special song for me”.

The song has also been remastered to give fans a fresh take to the original version.

The video is directed by award-winner Antonio Hyrnchuk from Fahrenheit Films. The cinematographer is two-time MuchMusic Video Award for Best Cinematography winner, Samy Inayeh. Inayeh recently took home the 2010 trophy for Trey Songz & Drake?s ?Succesful?.
